  • The molecular structure of bis(2‒isobutyrylamidophenyl)amine (H3 LNNN) has been determined from single‒crystal X-ray diffraction data. The crystal packing of H3 LNNN is governed by the N–H⋯O and C–H⋯O hydrogen-bonding and C–H⋯π stacking interactions between the vicinal molecules. The intermolecular interactions in the crystal structure of H3 LNNN have been also examined via Hirshfeld surface analysis and fingerprint plots. The Hirshfeld surface analysis showed that the important role of N–H⋯O and C– H⋯π interactions in the solid‒state structure of H3 LNNN.

  • This paper proposes a new method of mix design for UHPC using high volume fly ash (HVFA), that is referred to the particle packing optimization of the Compressive Packing Model proposed by F. de Larrard. This proposed method also considers the heat treatment curing duration to maximize the compressive strength of HVFA UHPC.

  • Ketoprofen and isoniazid together are a potential combination of a nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drug and an antitubercular medicine to treat tuberculosis and associated symptoms like fever and fatigue. The Schiff base of isoniazid with ketoprofen is synthesized in this research. Infrared spectroscopy (IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis of the crystal packing proved the formation of the Schiff base and the existence of N-H···O hydrogen bonds between the hydrogen-bonded dimer of the Schiff base.

  • In some recently experiments with virus, Abstract their core part are DNA tightly packed with very high charge density. The contribution of this highly charged part to the electrical field outside virus now cannot be easily neglected in general case. In this work we propose a simple core-shell model for this type of soft particles and virus.

  • The experiment aim to evaluate the packaging material for extending the shelf life of pomegranate with retaining better fruit quality attributes. Freshly harvested pomegranate fruits packed in low density polyethylene (LDPE) (25 micron), polypropylene (PP) (25 micron), cling film and cellophane paper film. Among all these packaging materials, the pomegranate fruits packed in LDPE 25 micron film had the least reduction in physiological loss in weight, minimal decay loss and highest ascorbic acid content.

  • Experiments were conducted to development, quality evaluation and storage stability of multi- flour noodles made from wheat flour, soya bean flour, carrot powder, mushroom flour and apple pomace powder. The noodles were formulated by taking different proportion of multi-flours in the ratio of (T100) 100:0:0:0:0, (T90) 90:2.5:2.5:2.5:2.5, (T80) 80:5.0:5.0:5.0:5.0, (T70) 70:7.5:7.5:7.5:7.5, (T60) 60:10:10:10:10 and (T50) 50:12.5:12.5:12.5:12.5 respectively. Wheat flour of the ratio of 100:0:0:0:0 was considered as control.

  • Pumpkin belongs to cucurbitaceae family grown widely in tropical and sub-tropical countries. Pumpkins are the sources of various functional compounds such as carotenoids, vitamins, minerals, dietary fibres, etc. Therefore, an attempt was made by drying of pumpkin for production of flour and its quality evaluation during storage. Different pre-treatments were applied to pumpkin shreds to standardize the method for preparation of pumpkin flour on the basis of chemical quality.

  • Sphere packings is one of the most fascinating and challenging subjects in mathematics. Almost four centuries ago, Kepler studied the densities of sphere packings and made his famous conjecture. Several decades later, Gregory and Newton discussed the kissing numbers of spheres and proposed the Gregory-Newton problem. Since then, these problems and related ones have attracted the attention of many prominent mathematicians such as Blichfeldt, Dirichlet, Gauss, Hermite, Korkin, Lagrange, Minkowski, Thue, Voronoi, Watson, and Zolotarev, as well as many active today....
