Many immunotherapies rely on the presence of neoepitopes derived from somatic mutations that lead to altered peptide sequences. Several studies have now analyzed the neoepitope landscape of different cancer subtypes, predominantly for adult samples, which tend to feature significantly higher mutational burden.

To propose a novel modeling of aflatoxin immunization and surrogate toxin conjugate from AFB1 vaccines, an immunogen based on the mimotope, (i.e. a peptide-displayed phage that mimics aflatoxins epitope without toxin hazards) was designed.

Infectious bronchitis virus (IBV), a coronavirus, is one of the most important poultry pathogens worldwide due to its multiple serotypes and poor cross-protection. Vaccination plays a vital role in controlling the disease. The efficacy of vaccination in chicken flocks can be evaluated by detecting neutralizing antibodies with the neutralization test. However there are no simple and rapid methods for detecting the neutralizing antibodies.

Mutant peptides presented by MHC (major histocompatibility complex) Class II in cancer are important targets for cancer immunotherapy. Both animal studies and clinical trials in cancer patients showed that CD4 T cells specific to tumor-derived mutant peptides are essential for the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapy by PD1 antibody.

CD4+ T-cell epitopes play a crucial role in eliciting vigorous protective immune responses during peptide (epitope)-based vaccination. The prediction of these epitopes focuses on the peptide binding process by MHC class II proteins. The ability to account for MHC class II polymorphism is critical for epitope-based vaccine design tools, as different allelic variants can have different peptide repertoires.

B-cell epitopes have been studied extensively due to their immunological applications, such as peptide-based vaccine development, antibody production, and disease diagnosis and therapy. Despite several decades of research, the accurate prediction of linear B-cell epitopes has remained a challenging task.

Vaccination against tumor-associated antigens is one promising approach to immunotherapy against malignant gliomas. While previous vaccine efforts have focused exclusively on HLA class I-restricted peptides, class II-restricted peptides are necessary to induce CD4+ helper T cells and sustain effective anti-tumor immunity.

Infectious Bursal Disease (IBD) is an economically important and contagious viral disease of poultry. An attempt was made for development of a synthetic peptide based diagnostic reagent. Cell culture adapted viral antigen was prepared by successful passage on CEF and then ultracentrifugation to get partially purified virus. Confirmation of the virus in was done by RT- PCR. The antigen was then used for the production of hyper immune sera in rabbits. Sera samples were also collected from known IBD vaccinated and non-vaccinated birds.

Cancer vaccine is one of the attractive treatment modalities for patients with castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC). However, because of delayed immune responses, its clinical benefits, besides for overall survival (OS), are not well captured by the World Health Organization (WHO) and Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) criteria.

We previously identified three short single peptides (P4, P6 and P7) representing different B-cell epitopes on the extracellular domain of Her-2/neu for a vaccine that was tested in a phase-I clinical trial. Here we describe the improvement of the multi peptide vaccine by fusing the single peptides to a hybrid peptide P467.

Peste-des-petits Ruminants (PPR) is a disease of small ruminants especially goat and its control and eradication till 2030 wants an extensive research to develop a potent vaccine. The role of surface HN protein in the attachment of the virus to cellular receptors makes it an appropriate target to develop a theranostics against the virus. In this study, cytotoxic T cells epitopes that will bind to MHC class I alleles were predicted out using bioinformatic tools.
