This paper present a high-throughput, low latency 4-pipeline stages architecture of AES with efficient throughput per resource (Mbps/slice). The proposed implementation achieves a high throughput of 105.7 Gbps with an efficiency of 31.48 Mbps/slice. In comparison to state-of-the-art works, our design surpasses the majority of existing designs in terms of throughput and latency.

In this thesis, the limitations of using existing LTE congestion mitigation mechanisms such as Discard Timer and RED have been explored. A different mechanism to analyse the effects of using control theory for congestion mitigation has been developed. Finally, congestion mitigation in LTE networks has been addresses using radio resource allocation techniques with non-cooperative game theory being an underlying mathematical framework.

Developing fast high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) methods can improve work efficiency during research, development, or production of a drug substance or a drug product. HPLC is a key technique in all of these areas. Until recently, analysis times of greater than 30 minutes were common. Modern pharmaceutical R&D, with its high-throughput screening, demands high-throughput methods to deal with the large number of samples. To reduce production cycle time, fast HPLC methods are essential for on-line or at-line process control and for rapid release testing.
