A major challenge for outdoor uses of methylammonium lead halide (MAPbX3) solar cells is the poor durability of the perovskite film under humidity. This instability is due to limitations of the dipping or spin coating process in producing MAPbX3 films through a direct reaction between PbI2 and methylammonium iodide (MAI) in an organic solvent. Perovskite solar cells are known to belong to the third generation of solar cells. Owing to the ability to change the band gap energy when changing the material composition, it has a high absorption coefficient that reduces manufacturing costs and carrier mobility. and the diffusion length of large charged particles leads to higher efficiency, so compared to other types of solar cells of the same generation such as color sensitive batteries and quantum dot batteries, perovskite batteries have the most application prospects.

In this study, the Perovskite material CH3NH3PbI3 was prepared using two-step sequential solution deposition technique. The treatment condition for Perovskite film including dipping duration, reaction temperature and annealing temperature was studied. In this study, colloidal CdS quantum dots were synthesized, structurally characterized, and their effect on performance of perovskite solar cells was observed by using them as interface modification agent between TiO2 /perovskite. Colloidal CdS quantum dots were synthesized based on two-phase method and characterized by X-ray diffraction and Transmission Electron Microscopy techniques. The average particle size of CdS quantum dots have found to be around 5 nm. Oleic acid was used as capping agent during synthesis to lead solubility in organic solvents.

This article presents optical property, crystal structure, and photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cell (PSC) in n-i-p structure using simple single-step solution method with antisolvent drip. The fabricated PSC exhibited a relatively high photovoltaic performance with the best power conversion efficiency of 15.8% under forward bias scan.

In this MATLAB script, the transfer matrix method was used, where transmission and reflection were calculated for each interface in the stack as well as attenuation in each layer. The wavelength-dependent optical constants (n and k) of each layer were measured by spectroscopic ellipsometry (SE).

In this work, perovskite planar solar cells were fabricated on corning substrates with the structure as follows: the first layer made of tantalum-doped tin oxide as transparent contact material, followed by sputtering niobium-doped titanium oxide as the compact electron transport layer; covered with perovskite CH3NH3PbI3 as the light harvester by combination between spin-coating and dipping methods; CuSCN was evaporated as the hole transport layer; the final thin Al/Ag electrodes were deposited.
