Trong nghiên cứu này, đã khảo sát ảnh hưởng của các chất điều hòa sinh trưởng đến sự tái sinh chồi in vitro, tạo cây hoàn chỉnh in vitro, chuyển cây cấy mô ra ngoài vườn ươm và theo dõi sự sinh trưởng, phát triển của cây trồng trên giá thể vụn xơ dừa trong điều kiện nhà màng. Kết quả của nghiên cứu góp phần cung cấp dữ liệu khoa học về nghiên cứu nhân giống in vitro cây tầm bóp Nam Mỹ và hướng đến cung cấp cây giống cấy mô.

This study showed that the AV gel could be suitable for producing an edible film and coating with good physical characteristics such as low WVP (0.0037g/m2 .h.mmHg). AV's low WVP appeared to have a great impact on maintaining post-harvest quality especially reducing the percentage of weight loss of coated fruit during storage.

The adverse effects of high temperature stress can be alleviated by thermotolerance induced by exogenous application of plant growth regulators or by gradual application of temperature stress. Physalis peruviana L., commonly known as the Cape gooseberry, is a source of a variety of phytocompounds such as withanolides (withanone, withaferin A, and withanolide A). These withanolides are potentially high-value drug candidates because of their various pharmacological properties. The production of withanolides via traditional agriculture is commercially inadequate.

In this study, we investigated changes in withanolide accumulation and characterized the gene expression level changes of squalene synthase enzyme in P. peruviana shoot cultures exposed to mild nonlethal heat stress (45°C for 2 and 5 h) and UV-B radiation (313 nm for 15 min and 3 h). We demonstrated significant changes in withanolide content with 7.86- and 12.5-fold increases for 2- and 5-hmild high-temperature exposure times, respectively. Exposure to UV-B also changed the withanolide content by 7.22- and 7-fold increases for 15 min and 3 h exposure times, respectively.

Field experiment was conducted during 2013-14 and 2014-15 at the Horticulture Research Farm, analysed in the Laboratory Department of Horticulture, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, to study the response of physico-chemical attributes in cape gooseberry (Physalis peruviana L.) to integrated nutrient management. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with fifteen and three replications.

Listeria spp. are opportunist human pathogens that may cause listeriosis, this illness is associated to ingestion of contaminated foods. Nowadays there are various antibacterial to act against Listeria spp. However, this bacterium has been demonstrated resistance to several antibiotics. In this regards, the antimicrobial activity of eight Physalis peruviana L. extracts obtained from leaves and berries (by aqueous and ethanolic media both lyophilized and fresh state) was evaluated against Listeria spp. previously isolates from meats.

The present investigation was carried out to find the efficiency and effectiveness of various mutagenic treatments of gamma rays and EMS on cape gooseberry. Genetically pure, uniform and dry seeds of cape gooseberry were subjected to 2, 5, 10, 15 and 20 kR doses of gamma rays and 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 and 0.05 M concentration of ethyl methane sulfonate along with control. Chlorophyll mutation, biological damages and viable mutant frequency was recorded in M1 and M2 generation.
