Physical activity (PA) plays a vital role in both physical and mental development of adolescents. This study aims to determine adolescent physical activity status and several related factors and to preliminarily evaluate its effect on the development of adolescent height and weight.

Current status of oral disease among 3-5 year-old children in some kindergartens in Hue city in 2019
Dental caries is a common disease and is acquired very early in children after teething. Primitive teeth play an important role in chewing, so oral disease will affect the physical development of children. The objective of the study was to investigate the current status of oral disease, the role of the mother and related factors of 3-5 year-old children.

The thesis "Physical Activity, Acceptance and Mental Health in People with Alopecia Areata: The Use of a Mixed-methods Approach to Inform an Evidence-based Intervention" aimed to (1) investigate the relationship between PA, health-related QoL and mental health in people with AA; (2) identify factors that influence PA behaviours; and (3) implement an evidence-based intervention based on the outcomes of aims (1) and (2) designed to improve the mental health status in people with AA.

Lentic systems are a diverse set of inland freshwater habitats (Lakes and ponds) exist across the globe and provide essential resources and habitats for both terrestrial and aquatic organisms. The current work was intended to evaluate the quality of the selected ponds (Pond 1, 2 and 3) in and around Vellore district, TamilNadu. The water samples were collected to determine the physical and chemical parameters during every month in the year 2019. Water parameters such as temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, Alkalinity, electrical conductivity, Chloride, Sulphate, Nitrate, Ca, Cl was studied.

The modelling of traffic flow using methods and models from physics has a long history. In recent years especially cellular automata models have allowed for large-scale simulations of large traffic networks faster than real time. On the other hand, these systems are interesting for physicists since they allow to observe genuine nonequilibrium effects. Here the current status of cellular automata models for traffic flow is reviewed with special emphasis on nonequilibrium effects (e.g. phase transitions) induced by on- and off-ramps.

Under the name of ideal circuit network, it is easy to make us understand that digital circuits are independent of the inner status and their outputs just only depend on the inputs. They are time constants and therefore Boolean algebra is a special suitable means of describing. In fact propagation delay time of circuit system should be in thought firstly in designing circuit network. In that case Boolean algebra does not seems to be fully suitable for describing actual circuit systems.

The measurement is not only the definite size of physical dimension but also whatever concepts, which can be compared each other.

Chapter 105. Malignancies of Lymphoid Cells (Part 8) Approach to the Patient: Lymphoid Cell Malignancies Regardless of the type of lymphoid malignancy, the initial evaluation of the patient should include performance of a careful history and physical examination. These will help confirm the diagnosis, identify those manifestations of the disease that might require prompt attention, and aid in the selection of further studies to optimally characterize the patient's status to allow the best choice of therapy.

Diagnosis (Fig. 46-1) Hyponatremia is not a disease but a manifestation of a variety of disorders. The underlying cause can often be ascertained from an accurate history and physical examination, including an assessment of ECF volume status and effective circulating arterial volume. The differential diagnosis of hyponatremia, an expanded ECF volume, and decreased effective circulating volume includes congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, and the nephrotic syndrome.

Physical Examination The general physical examination in a delirious patient should include a careful screening for signs of infection such as fever, tachypnea, pulmonary consolidation, heart murmur, or stiff neck. The patient's fluid status should be assessed; both dehydration and fluid overload with resultant hypoxia have been associated with delirium, and each is usually easily rectified. The appearance of the skin can be helpful, showing jaundice in hepatic encephalopathy, cyanosis in hypoxia, or needle tracks in patients using intravenous drugs.

Acute Chest Discomfort In patients with acute chest discomfort, the clinician must first assess the patient's respiratory and hemodynamic status. If either is compromised, initial management should focus on stabilizing the patient before the diagnostic evaluation is pursued. If, however, the patient does not require emergent interventions, then a focused history, physical examination, and laboratory evaluation should be performed to assess the patient's risk of life-threatening conditions.

There are many excellent texts available which cover the fundamentals of food engineering, equipment design, modelling of food processing operations etc. There are also several very good works in food science and technology dealing with the chemical composition, physical properties, nutritional and microbiolog- ical status of fresh and processed foods. This work is an attempt to cover the middle ground between these two extremes.
