Ebook "Essential oils as reagents in green chemistry" provides a valuable reference for the contribution of essential oils in the green chemistry, mainly in terms of their characteristics corresponding to their compositions, the development of their extraction technologies including both conventional and green process (e.g. microwave, ultrasound), and their sustainable applications as antioxidants, antimicrobials, insecticides, green solvents and synthons for the green synthesis.

The focus of this study was to examine the brewing performance quality attributes of wort and beer produced entirely from such combinations at various quantities. The physiochemical characteristics of the different gluten-free beer with and without the addition of ginger in comparison to barley-based beers was also examined. In this study, three different types of gluten-free cereals (oat, rice and corn) were used in the production of pale beer.

The objective of this research was to examine changes in physiochemical properties, oxidation indices, phenolic compounds and fatty acid composition during refining of cottonseed oil and soybean oil. 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and Rancimat method were used for determination of antioxidant capacities. The results obtained showed that specific gravity have decreased after refining, while refining process does not have a significant effect on the refractive index.

The present study was designed to see quality of raw buffalo milk in four districts of Chhattisgarh and the effect of different location, stage of lactation and parity on milk components of buffaloes. Total 112 milk samples were collected, comprised of four different districts and from lactation stage (early, mid and late) and from varying parity of (1, 2, 3 and 4 above) for the study. Overall milk fat, solid not fat (SNF), protein, lactose, density, freezing point and ash were observed to be 6.50±0.05, 8.88±0.03, 3.71±0.03, 4.90±0.06,1.030±0.002, -0.534±0.002and 0.81±0.004%, respectively.

Rhizosphere is the narrow region of soil that is directly influenced by root secretions and associated soil microorganisms. The microbe- plant interaction in the rhizosphere can be beneficial, neutral, variable, or deleterious for plant growth. Rhizobacteria that exert beneficial effects on plant development are termed plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR). In the present investigation the biodiversity of bacteria in rhizosphere and rhizoplane of Solanum melongena and their physiochemical characteristics was studied.
