An experiment was conducted onwedge grafting time, growing conditions on subsequent growth of grafted plants in guava (Psidium guajava L.) during 2014-2015.Wedge grafting was done during August (M1), September (M2), October (M3), November (M4), December (M5), January (M6) and February (M7)months under poly house and 50% shade net conditions. Wedge grafting in the month of August under poly house condition gave better response with respect to number of leaves per sprout, leaf area per sprout and leaf chlorophyll content.

Thiamethoxam25 % WG is a second neonicotinoid with highly systemic and broad spectrum insecticide used against sucking pests of vegetables in India. Thiamethoxam residues were quantified through regular sampling till the residues are below determination level (BDL) of 0.05 mg kg−1 following the validated QuEChERS method. The qualitative and quantitative analysis of thiamethoxam was performed on LC- MS/MS(PDA).

An experiment was conducted at the poly house, Dept. of Horticulture, College of Agriculture, RVSKVV, Indore, M. P. during the year 2015- 16.The experimental material was comprised of ten varieties grown in Randomized Block Design with three replications, to record morphological, phonological, yield and its attributing traits. On the basis of the result it was found that the hybrid variety Jhalri Priya 5 showed superior result under polyhouse condition and economically viable for polyhouse growers.

The propagation of rooted pepper plants and grafted pepper plants were produced by using orthotropic vine and plagiotropic branch of Paniyur-1 pepper plants, during the period 2015 to 2018 at Agricultural and Horticultural Research Station, Ullal. The one batch of cuttings of orthotropic pepper vine and plagiotropic branches were rooted in 4‟X6‟ poly bags and another batch of cuttings of orthotropic pepper vine and plagiotropic branches were grafted over on the Pepper colubrinum root stock for the study under 50 per cent shade house condition.

Protected farming is becoming increasingly popular in different developed and developing countries of the world due to its multifaceted advantages. Study was carried out to evaluate the long term cultivation effect on soil health under poly houses of varying age groups. It was observed that after 3-5 years of cultivation, the soils under the poly houses were deteriorated due to formation of soil acidity, nutrient imbalance and reduction in microbial diversity and enzyme activity.
