Antibacterial packaging represents an active packaging solution crafted to uphold the quality and safety of products. One of the popular polymer used in food packaging is Linear Low-Density Polyethylene (LLDPE), due to its low cost, ease of processing, and high mechanical properties. Polymer blend based on LLDPE and antibacterial agent PHMG were prepared in the presence of PE-g_AM compatibilizer and DCP initiator.

Ebok "Lithium-ion batteries: Science and technologies" contains an in-depth review of electrode materials, electrolytes and additives for LIB, as well as indicators of the future directions for continued maturation of the LIB. In developing electrochemical cells, one must keep in mind that the real goal is to package and control all the materials and components (cathode and anode active materials, electrolytes, separators, current collectors etc.) in a limited volume to enable maximum energy storage without creating any safety problems.

Synthesis, characterization, and antimicrobial evaluation of polyvinylalcohol-osthol composite films
Although poly-vinyl alcohol (PVA) has certain mechanical drawbacks such as a weak barrier, it has widely been used in food packaging over the last many years. To increase the suitability of PVA (C2H4O)n and render it ideal for food packaging, a diversity of studies have already been carried out. In the below-mentioned script, we, for the first time, report the use of natural product osthol in making a new composite with PVA for enhancing thermal, physicochemical, and antimicrobial properties.

Wood fiber-based packaging materials, as renewable materials, have growing market potential due to their sustainability. A new breakthrough in cellulose-based packaging requires some improvement in the mechanical properties of paper. Bleached softwood kraft pulp was mechanically treated, in two stages, using high- and lowconsistency refining, sequentially.

The biodegradability of chitosan is significant for packaging systems. Another relevant property of chitosan is its degree of acetylation (DA), which affects other properties, such as crystallinity and hydrophobicity. The DA can be modulated by chitin deacetylation or even chitosan reacetylation.

The aim of research was to develop biopolymer films based on natural polysaccharides. For the first time, biodegradable films were obtained on the basis of a furcellaran-chitosan polyelectrolyte complex. The conditions for its formation were determined by measuring the zeta potential as a function of colloid pH, the size of pure components and their mixtures.

This work investigated the effect of adding low concentrations of nano-SiO2 (0.5, 1.0 and 1.5%) in the properties of films based on sodium alginate, to identify lower thresholds in the proportion of the reinforcing agent. It was found that, even in the smallest proportion, thermal stability of the nanocomposites improved significantly (with degradation onset increased by almost 15% compared with the control film).
