In recent studies, Azadirachta indica, Andrographis paniculate, Ocimum canum and Pongamia pinnata, which are inhibitors derived from plants have been used to provide corrosion inhibition effect. The inhibitive ability of C. albidum in several corrosive media reported by researchers has prompted its examination in 1 M H2SO4 solution using polarization techniques, gravimetric and gasometric in this present work.

Galls or the neoplastic growth on plants result from a complex type of interaction between the inducers (Acari, Insects, Microbes and Nematodes) and plants. The present study sheds light on the gall inducing habit of a highly host specific eriophyid mite, Aceria pongamiae, on the leaves of Pongamia pinnata leading to the production of abnormal pouch like outgrowths on the adaxial and abaxial surfaces of the foliage.

Schizotetranychus lespedezae Beglyarov and Mitrofanov (Acari: Tetranychidae) were recorded and described from the leaves of the Pongamia pinnata (Milletia pinnata L.) in UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru, the studies on Schizotetranychus lespedezae web mites depicts their unique aspects. Spider mites have become serious pests in agriculture and forestry, as a side-effect of the excessive use of artificial chemical compounds. Studies on this group have developed exponentially mainly because of their practical importance as pests. Mean no. of male off springs of S.
