Study on the ability to use electron beam to change the structure of zeolite ZSM-5 with properties of hazadous waste treatment and industrial catalytic applications

In the paper, zeolite ZSM-5 has been synthesized in laboratory. Its structure is then modified by irradiating with electron beam at the different energies and fluences (F). To perform the irradiation process on the electron beam (EB) linear accelerator (UERL-10-15S2), the simultaneous energy degrading and sample containing holde was calculated and designed by MCNP simulation before irradiation.

The e−e production via yy collision in the randall sundrum model at the ILC

Taking into account the 125 GeV Higgs boson and radion propagators, we investigate the e−e+ production via yy collision in the Randall-Sundrum model at International Linear Collider (ILC). The observable cross-sections are calculated for the diphoton collision. The cross-sections are evaluated with dependence on the collision energy √s, the polarization of electron and positron beams.

Positron annihilation spectroscopy in material studies

Positron annihilation spectroscopy (PAS) is a method dedicated to detection of openvolume type of defects. Nowadays, this technique is of a great interest due to the practical character of obtained results. New devices using monoenergetic positron beams are built. The paper presents the basics of PAS, a description of common experimental techniques and two examples of applications.

Some initial results of simulating a positron beam system by using SIMION

Slow Positron Beam (PB) is an important device in the study of positron physics and techniques, especially in material research. For the purpose of conceptual designing a PB system, we have simulated a PB system with the parameters of an existing system – SPONSOR, using SIMION software.

E+E- ->Hz collision in randall sundrum model

We study the production of Higgs and Z bosons which has been proposed as an option of e+e − collision at the ILC, CLIC with the polarization of the electron and positron beams in Randall-Sundrum model (RSM). The differential cross-sections are presented and numerical evaluation is given. Based on the results, we show that the advantageous direction to collect Higgs is perpendicular to the direction of the initial e− beam. With the high integrated luminosity and at the high degree of polarization, the reaction can give observable cross-sections in future accelerators (ILC, CLIC).
