In an empirical study, CombinedTL is evaluated in each process of the materialized model on real data sets. Experimental results have confirmed that CombinedTL is more effective than the others with higher Accuracy and F-measure values. This also implies that to some extent, the feasibility and applicability of our model can be taken into consideration in practice to provide appropriate information for decision making support on in-trouble students.

A rainfall – runoff model describes the relation between the rainfall and runoff for a particular catchment area. The relationship between rainfall in a period and the corresponding runoff is quite complex. SCS-CN method is used to estimate the runoff, but, SCS-CN method does not consider the impact of rainfall intensity and did not account for the influence of forest management practices. The aim of this study is to develop Fuzzy Logic Model to estimate runoff using rainfall given for the area under consideration.

As an effective solution to the tradeoff between array size and the number of antenna elements, dual polarization antenna is widely utilized in massive MIMO systems. However, existing channel state information (CSI) feedback schemes are not suitable for dual-polarized massive MIMO as they ignore the polarization leakage between the polarization directions, causing significant performance degradation. In practice, the location of riverside water intakes is chosen based on land-property considerations rather than strict design criteria. For power plants intakes, abstraction efficiency is directly affected by the uniformity of flow distribution within the intake structure. The intake structure of South Helwan Power Plant (SHPP) is located downstream a Groin Like Formation (GLF) at the right bank of the Nile River, South Cairo, Egypt. This GLF disrupted the uniformity of flow approaching the intake.

The research aim of this article is to investigate the adoption patterns of HUB platforms that create and support virtual learning communities (VLC). The adoption patterns of one particular HUB called the Collaboratory for Engineering Education Research or CLEERhub, is presented as an example of how HUBs may be used as VLCs. After explaining the affordances of the HUB architecture, the article uses two approaches to discuss the adoption of CLEERhub by users. First, the authors link the five stages of Rogers’ Diffusion of Innovation model with various CLEERhub user metrics.
