This study investigates the bending behaviour and free vibration response of a rectangular sandwich plate with auxetic honeycomb core and functionally graded material (FGM) face sheets. Governing equations are established from Hamilton’s principle in the framework of the first-order deformation theory (FSDT).

This paper studies the effect of the change in air-fuel ratio on the engine and automobiles vibrations. Principle of vibration analysis is used to determine the system behavior. Air-fuel ratio is studied, as an input parameter, for stoichiometric, rich and lean fuels.

This paper presents a numerical solution for vibration analysis of cantilevered non-uniform trapezoidal thick plates. Based on the first shear deformation theory, kinetic and strain energies of the plate are derived and using Hamilton's principle, governing equations and boundary conditions are derived.
