The authors propose a novel BCMO-DNN algorithm for vibration optimization of functionally graded porous microplates. The theory is based on a unified framework of higher-order shear deformation theory and modified strain gradient theory. A hybrid combination of deep learning neural network and balancing composite motion optimization is developed to solve the optimization problems and predict stochastic vibration behaviors of functionally graded porous microplates with uncertainties of material properties.

The article deals with the study of the consumer behavior by considering the supply chain strategy in the context of a rapid digital transformation. The urgency and significance of the identified problem for science and practice are stipulated, on the one hand, by objective economic laws and major trends of the modern era, and on the other, by the problems of developing a model of the digital consumer’s responsible behavior.

Ebook "A study of professional skepticism" describes how auditors exercise different levels of professional skepticism and how they are exposed to different types of affective information on clients’ behavior. Based on the author’s empirical study of 56 auditors, it shows that auditors’ skepticism and affective reactions towards a client interact to influence their appraisal of valuation problems.

This thesis explores the problem of wasteful fashion consumption in light of the current need for individuals to develop a sustainable way of living. The Agenda 21 report from the Rio Earth Summit (1992) determined that sustainable consumption is an issue to be addressed in terms of resource conservation, waste reduction and a reduction of production pollutants. To date, in Australia, there are no policies or strategies in place to reduce wasteful consumption from the consumer’s perspective and it is this research and policy deficit that this thesis research addresses.

In this paper, we develop a numerical approach to simulate the 2D complex damage and fracture process of quasi-brittle concrete materials. Based on the phase field theory for the case of elastic isotropic multicomponent materials and the generation process based upon Monte Carlo’s simulation method, we construct a numerical procedure to solve complex damage thermodynamic problems.

This study begins with the desire to better understand the construction of university reputation. The framework of university reputation and student behavioral intention is formed by the relationship between student trust, student identity, and student commitment. Vietnam's higher education sector plays an essential role in education; this sector has been encountering various problems, and university reputation is a key pillar in educational management theory.

In this paper the smoothed four-node element with in-plane rotations MISQ24 is combined with a C0 -type higher-order shear deformation theory (C0 -HSDT) to propose an improved linear quadrilateral plate element for static and free vibration analyses of laminated composite plates. This improvement results in two additional degrees of freedom at each node and require no shear correction factors while ensuring the high precision of numerical solutions.

Chapter 8 - Behavioral economics. This chapter will define behavioral economics and explain how it contrasts with neoclassical economics. It will relate how prospect theory helps explain many consumer behaviors; and how time inconsistency and myopia cause people to make suboptimal long-run decisions. It will also define fairness and give examples of how it affects behavior in the economy.

Chapter 7 - Utility maximization. In this chapter, the law of diminishing marginal utility is developed, which leads into a detailed discussion of the theory of consumer choice. The numerical illustrations of the utility maximizing rule should be viewed as a pedagogical technique, rather than an attempt to portray the actual choice making process of consumers. The chapter concludes with a discussion of how society might use this theory to reduce criminal behavior.

Past research provides strong evidence that adverse life events heighten the risk of delinquent behavior among adolescents. Urban informal (slum) settlements in sub-Saharan Africa are marked by extreme adversity. However, the prevalence and consequences of adverse life events as well as protective factors that can mitigate the effects of exposure to these events in slum settlements is largely understudied.

Foster children are at higher risk of the development of behavior and emotional problems, which can contribute to the development of insecure attachment bonds with their foster parents and (subsequently) to placement breakdown. Sensitive parenting might minimize the adverse effects of the behavior and emotional problems.

In this paper, an efficient computational approach is developed to investigate the free-vibration behavior of functionally graded plates. The problem is developed based on a three-dimensional elasticity theory, which is expected to capture the structural response accurately. Isogeometric analysis is employed as a discretion tool to solve the problems.

The finite element model based on First Shear Displacement Theory to study the mechanical and electrical behaviors of cantilever laminated composite plate bonded piezoelectric patches on surface is presented. A nine-node isoparametric rectangular element with 5 degrees of freedom for the generalized displacements and 2 electrical degrees of freedom at each node is used. Optimization techniques based on genetic algorithm (GAs) are applied in order to maximize the piezoelectric actuator efficiency, improve the structural performance.
