This study aims to investigate the long-term mechanical properties and durability of cementitious composites (CC) with low polypropylene (PP) fiber content and local river sand. The influence of the black seed oil modified epoxy resin (EBSO)/monomer 3,4-epoxycyclohexylmethyl 3,4- epoxycyclohexane carboxylate (BCDE) weight ratio in the coatings based on the compounds and photoinitiator triarylsulfonium hexafluoroantimonate (TAS) on thermal properties of photocrosslinked coatings have been studied. The chemical structure of investigated UV-cured coatings was characterized by IR spectrometric analysis. Their thermogravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) behavior were determined by TG and DSC analysis, respectively.

In this study, we conducted sequencing of the entire gene coding region (WES) in the patient and identified a compound heterozygote variants (c.289C>G, p.Arg97Gly and c.433C>T, p.Arg145Trp) in the TNNI3 gene. These variants were inherited from the patient's father and mother, who were heterozygous variant carriers. These variants were also identified as the pathogenic variants in the ClinVar database (accession number VCV001331910.2 and VCV000012426.28, respectively) and were the cause of the patient's disease.

Zoanthid is a potential natural resource with many biological activities, such as antioxidant, antiviral, antiinflammatory, and cytotoxic activity. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity of 70% ethanol crude extract and dichloromethane fraction from Zoanthus vietnamensis. The total polyphenol content of ethanol and dichloromethane extracts were 19.36 ± 1.37 and 24.95 ± 0.63 mg GAE/g extract, respectively.

This study aimed to extract and evaluate some properties and the capability of phenolic components from shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) peels for usage as fish preservative. It was found that shallot peels extracted twice with 70 % ethanol solvent, within 60 minutes, at 60 oC and the ratio of solid/liquid 1/20 (g/mL) gave highest polyphenol and flavonoid yields. Total polyphenol content and total flavonoid content of the extract were 224.34±5.66 mg GAE/g DW and 255.11±4.35 mg QE/g DW, respectively.

. In vitro biological evaluation revealed the most active compound 4d with an inhibitory concentration of 42.87 μM against K562 and 47.42 μM on A549 cells. The anticancer activity of this naphthylidene isoxazolidinedione derivative was evident by cell cycle and apoptosis assays, which showed arrest of the G2/M phase (65.6%) of the K562 cells and induction of apoptosis with 21.47% apoptotic cells as compared to 0.2% of untreated cells, respectively.

From CHCl3-soluble extract of the leaves of Taxus wallichiana (Taxaceae), collected in Lam Dong Province, five compounds were isolated and identified as sciadopitysin, ginkgetin, (S)-(+)-rhododenol, (+)-erythro-N-benzoyl3-phenylisoserine methyl ester, and (−)-α-conidendrin (5). Their chemical structures were determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectra and comparison with published data. Except for (−)-α-conidendrin, these remaining compounds were first reported of Taxus wallichiana.

This article presents computational insights into the geometric and electronic structures of NbSi4 −/0 clusters using density functional theory and the CASSCF/CASPT2 method. The anionic and neutral ground states are identified as the 1A′ and 2A′ states, respectively, within a trigonal bipyramidal isomer where the Nb atom occupies the equatorial position. The adiabatic detachment energy for the transition from the anionic ground state 1A′ to the neutral ground state 2A′ is estimated to be 2.30 eV.

The sausage feeder takes an important role in automatic packaging systems. This paper presents the theoretical calculation, kinematic characteristics of an automatic sausage feeder using vibration technique and crank mechanism. The kinematics formulation of the crank mechanism is done using vector loop method and cosine rule are applied to describe the position of the mechanisms. Velocity of crank and connecting rod is performed by differentiating the position in terms of following crank angle and connecting rod angle respectively.

This document is a summation of our three-year engagement with the RMIT Masters program. However, in being both conclusive and projective, a particular structure has evolved which runs as closely as it can to the threefold structure of the Masters while also encompassing the particularity of our process and our discoveries.
