The organic dyes have beenwidely used in the textile industry for last decades. Nowadays, they have also known as toxic and polluted compounds because of their high persistence in soil sediments and water resources. These chemicals may be degraded to the carcinogens and toxic products under sunlight irradiation, affecting aquatic life and ecosystem.

GO-NH2 (amino functionalized graphene oxide) was synthesized by grafting (3-aminopropyl) triethoxysilane onto the surface GO (graphene oxide). The GO-NH2with a higher surface area and many active sites was characterized and its effectiveness in removing Rhod B dye and Ni(II) ions from wastewater by adsorption was observed. The effects of pH, time, and strange ions on the adsorption efficiency were investigated.

In this work, the mixed-metal metal-organic frameworks MIL(Ti-Fe) were synthesized by the hydrothermal method. MIL(Ti-Fe) hybrid material was fabricated from ilmenite ore and 1,3,5-benzene tricarboxylic acid at a temperature of 130 oC for 24 hours. The prepared material was characterized by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (IR), and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area.

This study aimed to propose a mathematical method to investigate and optimize the simultaneous elimination process of multiple organic pollutants using the Fenton process. Hence, the treatment of rhodamine B (RB) and acid red 14 (AR14) dyes in their binary solution was studied. Multivariate curve resolution alternating least square (MCR-ALS), a novel chemometric method, was applied along with correlation constraints to resolute the UV-Vis spectrophotometric data, enabling quantification of investigated dyes despite a high spectral overlapping.

Disposal of contaminated wastewater causes many serious problems especially when it gets mixed with the ground and seawater. It is, therefore, important to apply any remedial action to eradicate dangerous pollutants from the aqueous effluents and to avoid exposure of this wastewater to aquatic life. The research results discussed herein deal with the removal of Rhodamine B (RhB) and Congo Red (CR) dye from wastewater by using multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) as an adsorbent.

In this work, cold plasma jet system and used it to effectively remove Rhodamine B in the solution. We showed that the main oxidation substance responsible to remove Rhodamine B is the hydroxyl radical (•OH). By studying the effects of – the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) concentration in the initial and later produced in the solution, the plasma power, and the Ar gas flow speed – on the dye remove rate, we identified 2 main reaction pathways to generate hydroxyl radical (•OH).

Diatomite is mined in Phu Yen province, Vietnam and the Fe2O3-diatomite materials are synthesized by a simple process for the photo-Fenton reaction of rhodamine B (RhB) degradation. The pure diatomite and Fe2O3-diatomite materials have large pore structures representing the high adsorption ability and effi- cient photocatalysis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the feasibility of simultaneous optimization and removal of dyes, Malachite green (MG), Rhodamine B (RhB) and Cresol Red (CR) from aqueous solutions by using Sistan sand as an extremely low cost adsorbent. Factors affecting adsorption of the analytes on the sorbent were investigated experi‑ mentally and by using Taguchi and Plackett–Burman experimental design methods.

HPLC-PDA method was used to determine two basic dyes, Auramine O and Rhodamine B in food samples. The limits of detection and quantification of Auramine O (AO) and Rhodamine B (RB) were both 0.02 mg/L and 0.05 mg/L, respectively. The recoveries of AO and RB in matrices ranged from 83.00% to 105.91% with the concentration 0.5 µg/g, 1.0 µg/g and 1.5 µg/g.

In this paper we present the experimental setup of the Hanbury Brown - Twiss interferometer and the measurement results of the antibunching effect from single Rhodamine B dye molecules and single CdTe quantum dots in dilute solution. By fitting the second order correlation data, we derive a fluorescence lifetime of approximately 2 ns for Rhodamine B and 45 ns for CdTe quantum dots. Our results demonstrate an alternative way for determining the fluorescence lifetime using the antibunching effect.
