In this article, we introduce a method for synchronizing operations from 2D digital mapping software to 3D digital sand table software using AI technology. This method solves the challenges and difficulties of combining 2D and 3D in military applications, such as the difference between 2D and 3D space, the accuracy and efficiency of the synchronization process, and the user experience when working with three-dimensional space.

This research work utilizes image processing techniques and sand patch tests to measure pavement macrotexture. Image processing techniques including median filter, Sobel edge detector, and circle fitting are used. The newly developed method is able to compute the pavement macrotexture depth index based on image of sand patch test. This image processing-based method is developed in Visual C#.NET framework 4.7.2. The newly developed program has been tested with real-world image samples.

This study demonstrated the prominent role of river meandering in erosion in An Giang province, but the erosion rates of river banks varied largely in time and space because this process is a composition of hydrological and sedimentation alterations due to upstream damming, sand mining, and a tropical cyclone. This paper deals with using stainless steel reducing slag (SSRS), a byproduct generated from stainless steel making process, as a cement substitute in production of soil-based controlled low-strength material (CLSM). In the CLSM mixture, surplus soil and river sand were blended well together with a sand-soil proportion of 6:4 by volume in order to produce fine aggregate. Totally, twelve mixtures were prepared for experiment when we changed in turn percentages of Portland cement replacement with SSRS of 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30% by weight and the water-to-binder ratio of 3.4, 3.6, and 3.8.
