The process of neural stem cell (NSC) differentiation into neurons is crucial for the development of potential cell-centered treatments for central nervous system disorders. However, predicting, identifying, and anticipating this differentiation is complex. In this study, we propose the implementation of a convolutional neural network model for the predictable recognition of NSC fate, utilizing single-cell brightfield images.

The methanol extracts as well as some compounds from this plant exhibited anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial activity, antioxidant, hepatoprotective and anti-cancer effect, and antiosteoporotic. On going to search for bioactive components from the Vietnamese plant, this paper reported the isolation of seven phenolic compounds including one new from the aerial parts of A. ilicifolius. The cytotoxic activity of the isolates against two cancer cell lines (HepG2 and SK-LU1) were also screened and reported herein.

Influence of substitution of 3d metals for Mn on properties of La0.67Ca0.33Mn0.9 TM0.1O3 (TM = Fe, Co, Ni) compounds was studied. Ferromagnetic – paramagnetic and metals – insulator transitions were significantly affected by Mn-site substitution. However, no observable difference was found in their crystal structure from X-ray diffraction analysis. At room temperature the structure characterization of these compounds gave the single phase and structure is the distortion orthorhombic cell with space group symmetry Pnma.

The result showed that only 6% single cancer cells developed into tumorspheres during culture process. Then, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence analysis was carried out to evaluate the expression of CSC markers CD44 and ALDH in samples taken from tumorspheres which arose from gastric CSCs. The results showed that gastric CSCs formed tumorspheres in 3D culture condition with a high expression of 92% and 40,1% for markers CD44 and ALDH, respectively.

This paper discussed the influence of goblet cell in co-infected host on elimination of Nippostrongylus brasiliensis. For this purpose, Nippostrongylus brasiliensis and Eimeria vermiformis were infected to ICR mice, expulsion of the worm were delayed in co-infected group compare to single infected group and associated with the changes of goblet cell number.

In the course of trying to understand the pathogenesis of leishmaniasis in relation to extracellular matrix (ECM) elements, laminin, a major ECM protein, has been found to bind saturably and with high affinity to a 67-kDa cell surface protein of Leishmania donovani. To establish stable cell lines that produce recombinant multisubunit proteins, it is usually necessary to cotransfect cells with several independent gene constructs. Here, we show that a stepwise fusion of individually transfected cells, results in a fused cell-line that secretes a complete multisubunit protein. Functional expression of recombinant multisubunit proteins may require a defined expression ratio between each protein subunit. The cell-fusion technology described allows a predefined expression level of each subunit.
