In the case of length weight relationship (LWR), the coefficient of determination value (r2 ) was found 0.96 and the slope was found b = 1.50 which indicated the pattern of negative allometric growth of this species as b < 3. In contrast, an increase was recorded in the fecundity associated with the rise of total length, body weight and gonad weight showed a significant linear relationship. This study would assist in the development of induced breeding techniques and provide valuable information for the sustainable management of this population in the inland open ecosystem.

The Duckbill sleeper Butis butis (Hamilton, 1822) is an important fish for food in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam; however, information about the fish length and weight relationship (LWR) and growth pattern have not been known. The present study is conducted in Nha Mat and Ganh Hao, Bac Lieu to contribute fundamental knowledge about LWR and growth pattern of this goby. Data analysis based on a total of 141 individuals fish caught by gill nets from June 2015 to May 2016 shows that male B. butis outnumber females.

South Western Anatolia is dominated by E-W and NW-SE trending active faults. The dip-slip Yatağan Fault is one of these active structures that trends in a NW direction for ~30 km. To assess the relative tectonic activity of the Yatağan Fault, two geomorphic segments were defined along the fault: the FS-1 (northern segment) and the FS-2 (southern segment). The vertical slip rate pattern of the fault was analyzed using steepness indexes, chi (χ) plots, and log-log slope area graphs.

The soil cohesion and angle of internal friction depend greatly on the soil moisture. Specifically, soil with a lower moisture content has a higher shearing strength than that in soil with higher moisture content. The finite element modeling of moisture transfers in unsaturated soils through the relationship between soil moisture, soil suction, unsaturated permeability and soilmoisture dispersivity is capable of accurately predicting the wetting front development.

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a severe rheumatic disease of the interstitial tissue, in which heart and lung involvement can lead to disease-specific mortality. Our study tests the hypothesis that in addition to established prognostic factors, cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET) parameters, particularly peak oxygen uptake (peakVO2) and ventilation/carbon dioxide (VE/VCO2)-slope, can predict survival in patients with SSc.

This paper has aimed to investigate the slope stability for various conditions like embankment geometry, water level and soil property. The analysis has been performed by using the XSTABL program for di erent slope heights, slope angles and ood conditions with a xed soil cohesion value. Since the rapid drawdown is the worst case for a particular embankment therefore, the analysis has been further performed with di erent cohesion values. From this investigation it has been noticed that the increase of cohesion of soil can increase the stability to a great extent.

The present study was conducted in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, with the objective to know the trend value and growth rate of area, production and productivity of marigold flower. Madhya Pradesh has 52 districts out of them Ratlam district cover highest area of marigold i.e. approximately 28 percent. The result of trend and growth of area, production and productivity was found positive in all blocks of Ratlam district but, in case of Alot and Sailana blocks, the trend value and simple growth rate (SGR) of area and production was observed negative.

By expanding the calculations we investigated a four-nucleon model of the nucleus which takes into account the delta meson. The main results show that without the addition of Goguta-Bodmer, the expected compression value is still obtained, and the slope and curvature of the symmetrical energy are also consistent with the experiment.

Triprolidine hydrochloride (TpCl) ion-selective carbon paste electrodes were constructed using Tp-TPB/Tp-CoN and Tp-TPB/Tp-PTA as ion-exchangers. The two electrodes revealed Nernstian responses with slopes of 58.4 and 58.1 mV decade1 at 25 C in the ranges 6 • 106 – 1 • 102 and 2 • 105 –1 • 102 M for Tp-TPB/Tp-CoN and Tp-TPB/Tp-PTA, respectively. The potentials of these electrodes were independent of pH in the ranges of 2.5–7.0 and 4.5–7.0, and detection limits were 6 • 106 and 1 • 105 M for Tp-TPB/Tp-CoN and Tp-TPB/Tp-PTA, respectively.

We studied theoretically and experimentally the transformation, attenuation, and setup due to shoaling and breaking of internal waves in a two-layer fluid system on a uniform slope. An image processing technique was used to illustrate 2D instantaneous displacements of density interface. These results were compared with the calculated values by using the method of characteristics, the simple shoaling model with energy dissipation, and the momentum balance equation based on a radiation stress concept.

We investigate this possibility using a two-stage-least-squares approach: the first stage involves a regression of actual fiscal consolidation on the forecast of fiscal consolidation; and the second stage is a regression of the growth forecast error on the instrumented values of actual fiscal consolidation obtained in the first stage. As Table 3 reports, the first stage is strong, and the slope coefficient is 1.057 (t-statistic = 5.714). This coefficient close to 1 indicates that, on average, actual consolidation was neither smaller nor larger than expected.
