Sodium manganese oxide

In this article, zinc-doped sodium manganese oxide (NZMC) was synthesized by a conventional solid-state reaction method. Structure and morphology of the NZMC material were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energydispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS).

Sodium manganese oxide (NaxMnO2) has attracted much attention as cathode materials for alkaline ion battery due to the ability of the fast charge and discharge of Na+, in particular in nanoscale. We report on the synthesis of NaxMnO2 nanowires via hydrothermal synthesis route from Mn2O3 and NaOH solution. The morphological observation indicates that the obtained Na0.44MnO2nanowires with diameters of about 20 nm -30 nm, length up to several micrometers were formed by this process.

Bài báo trình bày nghiên cứu sử dụng phương pháp sol-gel có sử dụng các chất phụ gia hữu cơ để tổng hợp nano Mn2O3. Đã tiến hành nghiên cứu ảnh hưởng của nồng độ chất phụ gia hữu cơ (axit xitric và SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate)) và nhiệt độ nung đến kích thước của sản phẩm nano tạo thành. Các sản phẩm tạo ra đều được xác định các tính chất vật lý dựa trên phổ XRD, EDS và hình ảnh SEM.
