Soil properties and French bean

A field experiment was conducted during the Rabi season 2019-2020 on sandy loam soil to -study the effect of different levels of bulky organic manures with chemical fertilizers on soil properties of French bean. Organic and inorganic nutrients are important for crop productivity and soil health. The trial was conducted at Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Naini Agricultural Institute, Prayagraj-211007.

A greenhouse experiment was conducted in completely randomized design with two levels of aluminium (0 and 0.25 cmol kg-1 ), four levels of phosphorus (0, 13.4, 26.8 and 40.2 mg kg-1 P2O5) and three levels of sulphur (0, 13.6 and 26.8 mg kg-1 S) at SASRD, Nagaland University Medziphema in kharif season of 2017- 18 and 2018-19 to study the treatment effect on germination, yield, chemical composition and nutrient uptake of french bean and soil properties.

An experiment was conducted at the experimental farm of Department of Soil Science, CSKHPKV, Palampur by taking French bean crop during kharif, 2009. Biocompost and vermicompost were prepared by using cow dung and weeds and were inoculated with microbial inoculants and rock phosphate.
