This research aimed at studying how to apply CBI method in teaching Speaking skills for third-year students in Tourism Faculty effectively. With the expectation of being able to help those students improve their speaking skills, this thesis was conducted to evaluate how content-based instructions could help students to be better at speaking or making presentations.

Motivation factors are regarded as one of the most important parts in learning English, especially speaking skill. A positive motivation factor not only helps students have a good performance in learning English but also improves their speaking skill. Accordingly, this thesis concentrates on investigating the factors influencing third year English-major students’ motivation to speak English in English classes at Hai Phong Private University and gives some suggestions for enhancing the positive factors and reducing the negative ones.

An investigation into the effects of group work in teaching speaking skills to ESP students at danang university of medical technology and pharmacy (DUMTP)

This study is attempted to determine the students’ passing ratio in English speaking skills and explore the effects of group work in teaching English speaking skills to general nurse students at DUMTP. 282 third-year students were selected to participate in the research. The collected data included scores of the pre- and post-treatment of oral tests and information from the questionnaires.
