  • The aim of this study was to use RNA sequencing to investigate gene expression differences in testis tissue from Landrace and Duroc boars with high and low levels of sperm hyperactive motility. Boars with divergent phenotypes were selected based on their sperm hyperactivity values at the day of ejaculation (day 0) (contrasts (i) and (ii) for Landrace and Duroc, respectively) and on their change in hyperactivity between day 0 and after 96 h liquid storage at 18 °C (contrast (iii)).

  • After cereals, root and tuber crops are the main source of starch in the human diet. Starch biosynthesis was certainly a significant target for selection during the domestication of these crops. But domestication of these root and tubers crops is also associated with gigantism of storage organs and changes of habitat.

  • In recent years, Lam Dong's water resources have not only changed in terms of quality and quantity of water, but this has affected the economic, social and living environment in the region. Based on UNEP guidelines, the vulnerability of water resources in the study area has been explored by isolating important issues related to the different functions of the water resource systems in a storage facility. area. At present, the vulnerability index for the river basin in Lam Dong (VI) reaches 0.29 in the river basin with a vulnerability index for medium water resources.

  • Storage conditions were known to bring about some physicochemical changes in the products. The present investigation was therefore carried out to examine the effect of storage period on the sensory, physicochemical and microbiological quality of low fat spread. Low fat spread without strawberry powder and synthetic preservative T1 (Control), Low fat spread with strawberry powder but without preservative T2 (SS),Low fat spread with synthetic preservative T3 (Preservative) were prepared and subjected to 100 days of storage and evaluated periodically at intervals of 20 days.

  • The functional food development by adding probiotic bacteria is getting a lot of concern. In this study, Bifidobacterium bifidum AS 1.1886 was encapsulated in calcium-alginate 2 % w/v (C sample) or the mix of calcium-alginate 2 % (w/v) and whey protein 1 % (w/v) (CW sample) or calcium-alginate 2 % (w/v) coated by whey protein 1 % (w/v) (CcW sample) by extrusion method, and added to mayonnaise product. The pH changes, the survival rate of probiotic bacteria, and total yeast and mold count during storage, as well as the probiotic survival in simulated gastric medium, were evaluated.

  • The decrease in strength of tile adhesive mortars during wet storage was investigated. In a first approach, the water resistance of the polymer phases was tested on structures isolated from the mortar and in situ. It was observed that cellulose ether and polyvinyl alcohol structures are water-soluble. Subsequent investigations on polymer mobility within the mortar showed that the migrating pore water transports cellulose ether and polyvinyl alcohol during periods of water intrusion and drying. This leads to enrichments at the mortar – substrate interface.

  • Computing technologies change rapidly. Users want more powerful but compact devices. New technologies constantly increase processing speed and storage capacity, while decreasing the device size in order to satisfy this demand. These technologies may require new clearing and purging techniques. Advancing technology has created a situation that has altered previously held best practices regarding magnetic disk type storage media.

  • Information Governance. Documented processes that define how information is controlled, accessed, and used are needed more than ever in a cloud environment. An executive-sponsored framework is recommended to take information governance into the cloud. Project Management. Finally, change control, project management, and program management are equally important. With today’s standard IT silos, storage initiatives are managed, tracked, and reported on by the storage director; server initiatives are managed, tracked, and reported on by the systems director; and so on.

  • Growth naturally stimulates change, and CCTV technology has been no exception. A system that once merely required cameras, cabling, and video monitors has now become a complex electronic confi guration of equipment intertwined with both computer and telecommunications technologies. This dramatic change is directly related to the introduction of digital technology. Why do we need to understand how digital technology works, and what does it have to do with the future of security? It’s simple—the newest revolution in technology is pervasive computing.
