The present study investigates the synthesis and analysis of zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) intended for use in electronic devices. ZnO NPs with an average crystallite size of 33 nm and a hexagonal wurtzite structure were produced by the combustion process. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) revealed a densely packed, spherical morphology.

The magnetic properties of core/shell nanoparticles (NPs) depend on the various parameters, including the magnetic interactions, but these effects have not been well studied. Here, we systematically investigated the structure and magnetic properties of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs. X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) confirmed the formation of Fe3O4@CoFe2O4 core/shell NPs.

To elucidate these issues, a detailed study of the microstructure of amorphous V2O5 under pressure was needed. The spatial distributions of atoms, the link distributions and the geometrical distributions of the free volumes need to be fully investigated. The distribution of free volume in the amorphous V2O5 network also needs to be visualized. These are the main contents in this paper.

In this work, the effect of annealing temperature and Cr3+ concentration on the structural and optical properties of the SnO2 host crystals has been investigated. The Cr-doped SnO2 samples were synthesized by a simple hydrolysis method, using SnCl4.5H2O as the host precursor and CrCl3.6H2O as the source of dopant.

In this work, we have shown that the addition of Zn to nanocrystalline nickel ferrite enhanced its H2 sensing properties, such as sensitivity, response time, and stability. This is explained due to the formation of defects and oxygen vacancies in the crystal structure due to the substitution of Zn ions in place of Ni ions. These defects generated more active sites for H2 gas to interact with, resulting in improved sensing performance.

In this work, SrFe12O19 samples were synthesized by hydrothermal method. We systematically studied the influence of an alkaline environment (NaOH) with the molar ratio (R) of 2 , 3 and 4 on the structure, magnetic properties of SrFe12O19 particles prepared by hydrothermal method. The relation between morphology, magnetic properties and microwave absorption properties of materials have been investigated.

Crystalline structure of CaO-P2O5-SiO2 system at 3,000 K were investigated by molecular dynamic simulation. The models with different concentrations of P2O5 (5-40 mol%) were constructed by using Born-Mayer-Huggins potentials. The size of models was from 5,270-5,520 atoms. The local environment of elements and glassy-network structure were investigated in detail.

In this report, SYGO:Eu3+ red phosphor have been successfully synthesized by sol-gel method. The X-ray diffraction results show that the sample has a cubic crystal structure, belonging to the space group Ia3d (230) without any doping. Scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) combined with EDS was performed to determine the microstructure and elemental composition of the fabricated phosphor.
