Layer-structured SnSe is known as a potential semiconductive material because it is not toxic, relatively abundant in the earth crust and possess unique electronic, optoelectronic properties. This material is also broadly used for many applications such as photodetector, fire detector, thermoelectric devices, energy storing equipment, etc.

The profile of deep magnetotelluric sounding (MT) from Duc Trong - Tuy Phong has been carried out in Lam Dong and Binh Thuan provinces. This paper presents the results of measurement, analysis and interpretation of the structural features of the Earth’s crust in the study area.

Knowledge of heat flow density on the Earth’s surface and subsurface temperature distribution is essential for the interpretation of several processes in the crust such as for the evaluation of the geothermal potential of a region. With this study, we investigate the conductive heat flow distribution in western Anatolia to understand the thermal state and its relationship to regional tectonics in the region. The new heat flow data are collected and combined with previously published data to obtain the new heat flow map of western Anatolia.

The receiver function analysis method was used to determine the crustal structure in Central Anatolia, Turkey, by using teleseismic earthquake records. The method is based on the conversion of incident P waves into S waves reaching an interface in the crust or upper mantle and arrival of the converted wave to the station just after the direct P waves.

Fractures are ubiquitous in the brittle lithosphere in the upper part of earth’s crust. They play a critical role in the transport of fluids. Moreover, all major discovered geothermal reservoirs and a considerable number of petroleum reservoirs are in fractured rocks. This restates the importance of studying multiphase flow behavior inside the opened fracture space.
