Study on gap estimation

Seagrasses in Truong Sa archipelago have not been intensively studied and understood, even in some obviously progressive works recently published. It is essential to carry out much more researches to fill up understanding gaps of seagrasses in the area. In 2019, within the framework of the project coded KC09.29/16–20, two surveys were conducted for three selected islands (Truong Sa Lon, Thuyen Chai and Song Tu Tay) in the area, focusing on marine ecosystems including seagrass beds.

Gluten-free food was among the top five most-searched words on Google in 2013. The global gluten-free market is projected to reach US$6.2 billion by 2018. Celiac disease is a systemic autoimmune syndrome involving a gluten-induced chronic inflammation of the small bowel mucosa, with extensive short and long-term negative health consequences if untreated including GI cancer. The present study aimed to find the potential of gluten-free foods in world, USA and India.

The present study was conducted on 12 dogs of either, sex, breed, aged between 1-8 years brought to T.V.C.C, Jabalpur having a diaphyseal fracture in any of the long bones i.e. Humerus, femur and tibia. The dogs were randomly divided into three equal groups irrespective of breed and sex. The radiographs in two standard views were taken to diagnose the fracture and to select optimum titanium pins. In all the three groups, the diaphyseal fractures were repaired with internal fixation using titanium elastic pin. In group I, the fracture was repaired by using the titanium pin alone.

India is the fourth largest oilseed producer in the world. Among the edible oilseed crops cultivated in India, mustard occupying the second position after groundnut sharing 27.5 per cent in Indian economy. It is also one of the important oilseed crops of Madhya Pradesh and is commonly grown in Sidhi district which falls in Kymore Plateau and Satpura Hills zone of the state. Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sidhi conducted 64 technological frontline demonstrations to know the yield gap between improved package of practices (IP) and farmers practices (FP) under limited irrigation conditions.

Satellite based precipitation product (GSMaP-MVK) can be reliably used to estimate the Areal Mean Precipitation error based on “Sample Design method” (Esdd) with the effort to mitigate the problem of sparse data, especially severe in poorly gauged river basins. In addition, the satellite-gauge merging precipitation would reduce significantly the magnitude gaps between the satellite rainfall estimations and the rain gauge data.

This study examines the wage differentials between migrant and non-migrant workers. Based on data from Vietnam Migration Survey in 2004, earnings equations with and without Instrumental Variable (IV) are estimated for migrant workers and non-migrant workers. From these results, the study compares the wage structure for migrant workers and non-migrant workers. Oaxaca decomposition of the wage differentials of the two groups workers are carried out.

MBA salary information to assess the quality of an MBA program and therefore cannot control for differences individual fixed effects. An important contribution of our paper, therefore, is applying individual-level data on student characteristics and pre- and post-MBA wages to estimate the returns to an MBA, which allows for a more careful treatment of selection first into attending business school and second into programs of varying types and qualities.

There is a growing body of evidence which demonstrates that following a diet that complies with the Dietary Guidelines may reduce the risk of chronic disease. Recently, it was reported that dietary patterns consistent with recommended dietary guidance were associated with a lower risk of mortality among individuals age 45 years and older in the United States.4 The authors of the study estimated that about 16 percent and 9 percent of mortality from any cause in men and women, respectively, could be eliminated by the adoption of desirable dietary behaviors.
