This paper aims to provide insights into the factors which manufacturers must take into consideration in contemplating to setting up Internet sales channel. By using transaction cost analysis (TCA), we set up a research model, which composed of various factors which are critical to the success of Internet sales channel and elaborate the role of these factors on this issue. Subsequently, appropriate propositions are instigated and investigated in order to determine the impact of these variables on the manufacturers’ decision making in this area.

This study has investigated the impact of internal, customer and supplier sustainable development goals on environmental performance of manufacturing firms in Thailand. Furthermore, intervening role of supply chain integration has also been analyzed in relationship between SDGs and environmental performance. Data has been collected through questionnaire from middle level management of almost 49 manufacturing firms of Thailand which was subsequently analyzed on SPSS and AMOS for screening and path analysis.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the adaptation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in supply chain management. This article provides a comprehensive critical analysis of the provisions of IFRS for accounting for intangible assets from the point of view of their practical application in supply chain. The objects of the study were Russian companies, because generally while composing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, there might be problems of accounting for intangible assets due to the imperfection of these regulations.

Ebook "Development and reproduction in humans and animal model species" describes human development including sexual reproduction and stem cell research with the development of model organisms that are accessible to genetic and experimental analysis in readily understandable texts and 315 multi-colored graphics. The introductory account of model organisms selected from the entire animal kingdom presents general principles, which are then outlined in subsequent chapters devoted to, for example, sexual development;...

Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytomas (JPAs) are one of the most common pediatric brain tumors, and they are driven by aberrant activation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathway. RAF-fusions are the most common genetic alterations identified in JPAs, with the prototypical KIAA1549-BRAF fusion leading to loss of BRAF’s auto-inhibitory domain and subsequent constitutive kinase activation.

Surface modification of interdigitated DNA sensors by polypyrrole nanowires and gold nanoparticles has been analyzed systematically. Polypyrrole nanowires with diameter of 200 nm and length of 5 mm were electrochemically synthesized on the gold surface of interdigitated electrodes and subsequently decorated with 20 nm gold nanoparticles.

This article presents the method for training a deep artificial neural network (DANN) for regression analysis; this method is based on the generalized delta rule. To illustrate the rule, a DANN with two hidden layers is used. The model’s construction is described in the form of mathematical equations. Subsequently, a DANN program is written in Visual C# .NET. This program is tested with the task of estimating the shear strength of soil samples.

This study focuses on experimental testing and subsequent numerical analysis of impacted and pre-loaded composite coupons and bonded composite scarf joints under varying impact conditions. A methodology will be developed for the numerical modelling of preloaded impact tests to enable capture of critical failure modes and ultimate failure. The main aim is to validate a modelling strategy that will provide accurate failure characterisation of the tested joints using numerical analysis.

Classical swine fever (CSF) is a contagious disease of pigs and wild boars that is transmitted through direct/indirect contact between animals or CSF virus-contaminated fomites. When the disease re-emerged in 2018 in Japan, a CSF-infected wild boar was reported shortly after the initial pig farm outbreak; subsequently, the disease spread widely.

Elucidation of regulatory networks, including identification of regulatory mechanisms specific to a given biological context, is a key aim in systems biology. This has motivated the move from co-expression to differential co-expression analysis and numerous methods have been developed subsequently to address this task; however, evaluation of methods and interpretation of the resulting networks has been hindered by the lack of known context-specific regulatory interactions.
