In the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the development of smart cities, along with adopting the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) model with a focus on extensive public transportation, is a suitable and effective direction for Hanoi's urban development. Subabul is an important protein rich tree fodder which its lopping is extensively used as cattle fodder. It is drought resistant tree, generally grown as border or bund crop in farmers and its lopping is cut for green fodder for animals. For this purpose tree fodder cultivating seems to be a promising strategy for livestock farmers. A field experiment was conducted to find out the relative performance of tree fodder growth at various stages of cutting and suitable lopping interval of subabul (Leucaena leucocephala) during 2019-2020.

Any information communication tool like radio, television, mobile phone, computer, network, hard ware and software, satellite system etc., can be used for framing suitable methodologies for dissemination of innovations to the livestock farmers. No single medium of communication is the best and hence a combination of different medium referred as media mix strategies were suggested through the study for diffusion of various dairy innovations.

The present study was aimed at understanding the socio-economic conditions and adoption of sheep management practices in Karauli district of Rajasthan, India as it serves as a benchmark for evolving meaningful extension strategies and other policy interventions. The scenario in Karauli district revealed that sheep production is in the hands of traditional farmers; rearing under the extensive system of management. Most of the farmers had a poor socio-economic background with illiteracy. Majority is rearing a hairy coated dual purpose breed with small flock sizes ranging from 25 to 50 heads.
