This book is intended as a guide for security professionals, developers, and those interested in learning how elliptic curve cryptography can be deployed to secure applications. The presentation is targeted to a diverse audience, and generally assumes no more than an undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics. The book was not written for theoreticians as is evident from the lack of proofs for mathematical statements.

This study aimed to determine if preservice secondary teachers also exhibited attributes of secondary subcultures. Through the Teacher Multicultural Attitude Survey and the Culturally Responsive Teacher Self-Efficacy Scale, this study revealed that subcultures also occur within preservice teachers, specifically preservice mathematics teachers and preservice English teachers, with regards to multicultural awareness and attitudes.

This book is intended to survey the most important algorithms in use on computers today and to teach fundamental techniques to the growing number of people who are interested in becoming serious computer users. It is appropriate for use as a textbook for a second, third or fourth course in computer science: after students have acquired some programming skills and familiarity with computer systems, but before they have specialized courses in advanced areas of computer science or computer applications.

Edge detection is a basic analogy of image processing. It is successful in detecting and extracting the objects features . It is the set of mathematical methods whose goal is to identifying points and shapes in a digital image of 2d geometric shapes to what place changes sharply the image brightness. A survey of diverse methodologies of edge detection are provided here.

The dynamic calculation model of launcher on combat vehicles using hydraulic jacks on elastic ground
In this paper, a dynamics model of a launcher on a combat vehicle using hydraulic jacks is established. Theoretical foundations of multi-object mechanics are used to set up mathematical equations describing the vibration of a launcher when firing. The ground in the surveyed model is considered as an elastic element with K hardness and viscous drag coefficient C

The main focus of the study was to determine overall expected outcomes and learning achievements including assess the effectiveness of Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) models conducted in the support of Save the Children (SC) Nepal. The expected outcomes were related to children’s school preparedness, learning progresses, promotion, repetition and dropout status. The study was further focused on comparing achievement scores of the students (with and without ECCD exposure) in mathematics and other major subjects.

The success of using any types of technology in education depends on a large extent of the acceptance of information technology (IT) by students. Therefore, understanding the factors influencing the acceptance of electronic book (e-book) is essential for decision-makers and those interested in the ebook industry. Based on an extended technology acceptance model (TAM), this paper examines the impact of some factors on the students’ behavioural intention (BI) toward adoption of the e-book in mathematics and statistics.

This article reports on the implementation of clickers to improve the success rate of first-year mathematics students. There were 105 students registered in this course, in a university of technology in South Africa. In order to do this, an orientation test in the form of a paper-based assessment was first conducted to determine what students already knew. About 21.9% of the students did not take the test and 20% did not pass it. These results raised concerned. Thereafter students were taught. After four weeks they were evaluated on their understanding of the concept taught in class.
