Alternating copolymers (ACs) contain two distinct monomeric unit types dispersed in alternating order of hydrophilic block and hydrophobic block. ACs have extensive and versatile applications in both academia and industry, especially in drug delivery systems (DDS) due to their unique physical and chemical properties. In the present study, we have made an attempt to prepare complexed PVA-PVP-KNO3-BaTiO3 blend composite polymer electrolyte membranes composed of potassium nitrate (KNO3) as salt and BaTiO3 of various concentrations as filler and studied their properties. The advantages of addition the fillers are the increase in ionic conductivity at room temperatures and the improvement of the stability at the interface with electrodes.

Blend solutions of poly(ε-caprolactone) (PCL) and N-(2-hydroxy)-propyl-3-trimethylammonium chitosan chloride (QCh) were successfully electrospun. Tensile tests revealed that the nonwovens present a good balance between elasticity and strength under both dry and hydrated state. Results indicate that the PCL/ QCh electrospun nonwovens are new nanofibers-based biomaterials potentially useful as wound dressings.
