The scientific attitude

Scientific culture has been a concern for decades in the developed world, giving rise to conceptual changes known as paradigms. The first one is the longstanding literacy paradigm, defined by the skills and knowledge acquired at the education institution. It has been followed by the public understanding of science paradigm, related to the scientific understanding and an allegedly subsequent positive attitude towards science.

Poultry Farmers had high level of knowledge regarding poultry housing (39.17%), brooding (39.17%) and feeding (42.5%) practices. Considerable number of poultry farms has grown up in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan. Hence, the knowledge of poultry practices occupies the importance. The present study was concluded in Bhilwara District of Rajasthan on 120 poultry Farmers selected by multi-stage sampling procedure.

Animal sentience and welfare needs utmost importance as animal sentience is the capacity to feel pleasure and pain whereas, welfare would be intimately connected with the physiological stress response and it would simply be a matter of finding a reliable indicator of stress.
