This paper presents the applying of sound barrier wall for highways in Viet Nam studied from existing experiments in the world. Air pollution is getting worse in Viet Nam in recent years, particularly in big cities. The most important source of pollution are traffic and industrial activities. The paper "A Review on Current Status of Urban Air Pollution in Ho Chi Minh city and Ha Noi" reviews air pollution situation in Ho Chi Minh city and Ha Noi. We also recommend policies to tackle the problem: (i) upgrade the national air quality standard, (ii) install systematic and high-quality network of monitor stations, and (iii) remove means of transport that unmet emission regulations.
