The application of WES in identifying mutations in ADPKD has been widely performed by researchers worldwide; however, in Vietnam, the utilization of WES in ADPKD studies is still limited. In this study, we applied WES to identify pathogenic variants for Vietnamese ADPKD patients and validated the obtained variants in the family using Sanger sequencing.

Dominance effect may play an important role in genetic variation of complex traits. Full featured and easy-to-use computing tools for genomic prediction and variance component estimation of additive and dominance effects using genome-wide single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers are necessary to understand dominance contribution to a complex trait and to utilize dominance for selecting individuals with favorable genetic potential.

A diallel cross is a mating scheme which has been utilized for investigating the genetic underpinnings of traits with quantitative nature. In field of animal and poultry breeding, it has vast scope for improving the production performances. To exploit the full advantage of diallel crossing with ease, the different modifications viz. full, partial, incomplete and complete diallel crossing had been developed. The genetic basis for improvement in performance due to diallel cross is attributed to two main factors i.e.

Bacteria are ubiquitous in nature. Based on their role bacteria may be grouped as beneficial, spoilage causing and pathogens. The saprophytic group, involved in causing the spoilage of milk and milk products, produce various kinds of surfactants to utilize the milk components. Synthetic surfactants dominate in the market especially in detergent formulations and considered as non-biodegradable and toxic. Biosurfactants are surface metabolites produced by bacteria and fungi having very different chemical structures and properties.

The inheritance pattern of flower colour in underutilized tuberous legume crop yam bean was studies by utilizing a white flower colour line (YBWF1) and two purple flower colour lines (RM-1 and L No-3). The F1 and F2 population along with parental lines were evaluated to study the inheritance pattern of the flower colour. All the F1 hybrids showed purple colour in both the crosses and in the F2 segregation generation, the observed distribution of the flower colour fitted the expected Mendalian ratio of 3 (Purple flower colour):1 (white flower colour).

Seasonal incidence studies of Helicoverpa armigera (Hubner) infesting chickpea were undertaken during 2016-17 at Instructional farm, Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, J.A.U, Junagadh. A dominant invertebrate animal, insect, have capacity to change their behavior and habitat with the changing of the environment and so, it is necessary to see the impact of changing pattern in abiotic factors on H. armigera on chickpea so seasonal incidence with provide information regarding this utility.

Soybean (Glycine max) is a miracle crop due to its extraordinary qualities apart from known for rich source of vegetable protein and oil. Over the years, its production is stagnant or declining owing to climate change and also due to ever changing pathogenic behaviour of Macrophomina phaseolina. The present investigation was undertaken to utilize the dominant resident mycoflora of crop that are capable of adjusting to changing environment apart from its ability to combat the menace of its co-partner (pathogenic group) evolving with them.

The present study was envisaged with the objective to isolate indigenous chromate tolerant bacteria from effluents and their subsequent utilization for chromium uptake or reduction. Samples were collected from two different Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs), located in Ludhiana (sample 1) and Jalandhar (sample 2). In both the samples, chromium was found to be the dominant metal contaminant. A total of 10 morphologically distinct isolates were tested for their tolerance to chromium in terms of minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Cr required for complete inhibition of growth.

This paper aims at testing the influence of Subprime Crisis on Chinese stock market returns. By means of newly proposed time series spatial analysis methodology, we investigate the dominance behavior of daily returns on both Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index and Shenzhen Stock Exchange Component Index between before and after the crisis. Little spatial dominance could be found, even considering the appreciation of the RMB, no matter in short-term or long run investment.

It was examined that weeds cause a lot of problems in the crop field. Weeds compete with the main crop for nutrients, water, food, space, sunlight etc. Weeds utilize the nutrients provided to the main crop and sometimes dominate the main crop. Some weeds are very noxious and they are harmful for both humans as well as animals. It is clearly revealed from studies done in field of weeds that use of herbicides used to control weeds cause many effects on soil as it leads to degradation in the quality of soil, water as well as it pollutes environment.

The present investigation was undertaken with a view to generate genetic information on gene effects for 14 quantitative traits in brinjal through generation mean analysis. The experimental material consists of six generations, namely P1, P2, F1, F2, B1 and B2 of four crosses in brinjal viz., AB-15-07 x GJLB-4 (cross 1), JBR-14-07 x Pant Rituraj (cross 2), NSR-01 x Swarnmani Black (cross 3) and NBR-14-05 x GJB-03 (cross 4). The results indicated that the magnitude and type of gene effects differed for the same trait in different cross combinations.

Driverless cars will dominate the road ways in the near future. Insurers often strategize to understand the technologies of autonomous cars, what they mean and the impact they may have on their business so they can then tackle that from an insurance perspective. In order to identify the changes going with autonomous cars development, the way of literature reviewing is conduct. AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process), then, employed to evaluate the weights of the changes which go with the autonomous cars development from perspectives of insurers and agency separately.

Generation mean analysis was employed in two crosses viz., MDU 1 x Mash 114 and MDU 1 x Mash 1008 of balckgram to partition the mean into various components viz., additive, dominance and epistasis. Traits viz., number of clusters per plant, pod length, and number of seeds per pod were controlled by additive gene action in the cross MDU 1 x Mash 114. The additive as well as additive x additive type of gene action were in control of seed yield per plant, MYMV disease scores and most of yield components in the cross MDU 1 x Mash 114.
