Varying lighting conditions

We report on the achievement of high-efficiency green, yellow, and red InGaN/AlGaN dot-in-a-wire nanowire light-emitting diodes grown on Si(111) by molecular beam epitaxy. The peak emission wavelengths were altered by varying the growth conditions, including the substrate temperature, and In/ Ga flux ratio.

In this work "An application of Razumikhin theorem to exponential stability for linear non-autonomous systems with time-varying delay", in the light of the Razumikhin stability theorem combined with the Newton–Leibniz formula, a new delay-dependent exponential stability condition is first derived for linear non-autonomous time delay systems without using model transformation and bounding techniques on the derivative of the time-varying delay function. The condition is presented in terms of the solution of Riccati differential equations.

The spacing of crop may be varied according to climatic condition, soil fertility and cultivars adaptation to particular region. Under the wider spacing, the plant was more vigorous in terms of leaf size, which might be due to less competition for light, nutrients and moisture as compared' to closer spacing (Rai et al., 2003).

In addition, the effects of explant age and lighting condition on shoot regeneration were also investigated. After 8 weeks of culture, the results showed that shoot regeneration rate (100%) and shoot multiplication coefficient (13.33) of the in vitro leaf-tTCL-4 were higher than those of other treatments and control. The shoot regeneration rate of P. edulis Sims. also varied with the change of explant age. The highest shoot regeneration rate (100%) was obtained from leaf explants of 1.5-month-old shoots after 8 weeks of culture.

Biology and bionomics of Cheilomenes sexmaculatus on Lipaphis erysimi was investigated under laboratory conditions during 2013. Biology of C. sexmaculatus on Lipaphis erysimi revealed the presence of four instars, which lasted for of 7.16 ± 0.99 days. The eggs hatched within 1–3 days. The total life span of male and female were 16.44 ± 1.19 days and 22.04 ± 2.42 days, respectively. The mean pupal period lasted for 5.88 ± 0.73 days. The fecundity of the female was 323.52 ± 24.80 eggs / female.

Shading includes low light intensity and varying quality. However, a low red/far-red (R/Fr) ratio of light is a signal that affects plant growth in intercropping and close- planting systems. Thus, the low R/Fr ratio uncoupling from shading conditions was assessed to identify the effect of light quality on photosynthesis and CO2 assimilation.

The performance of the proposed method is compared with LHD method for face recognition in various conditions: 1) ideal condition of face, 2) varying lighting conditions, 3) varying poses and 4) varying face expression. It is very encouraging that the proposed method gives lower computational cost than LHD while keeping the accuracy of face recognition equal to the LHD method.
