A study was conducted in University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad to know the prevalence and levels of peer victimization among high school children selected from Dharwad taluk, Dharwad district of Karnataka. Self structured questionnaire and multidimensional peer victimization scales were used to elicit required information from children. Percentages and t-test were used to analyze the data.

  • The present study was undertaken on 1070 children (571 boys and 499 girls) of secondary and senior secondary schools of Hisar district of Haryana state. The study was conducted with all children enrolled in classes 6th to 10th from six selected schools (three schools from urban area and three schools from rural area i.e. Ladwa). This exploratory and crosssectional study aimed to identify the extent of bullying, victimization and fighting behaviour in a group of children and analyze the data regarding the gender of those involved in bullying, victimization and fighting behaviour.

Three secondary and senior secondary schools from Hisar city and three secondary and senior secondary schools from village Ladwa (Hisar district) were selected at random. The study was conducted with all children enrolled in classes 6th to 10th from six selected schools. Total sample constituted of 1070 students, 570 from rural area and 500 from Hisar city.

  • Gender discrimination is an emerging issue of an individual right after his/her birth. Intentional gender discrimination/ gender differentiated behavior can be seen and feel both in private and public life. This study aims to documents the teacher's gender differentiated behavior while disciplining the school children and to analyze the factors associated with such behavior. The study was designed as a descriptive study based on sample survey. The totals of 119 teachers from 60 schools were randomly chosen as respondents at the time of school visit.

  • Our study described the prevalence of being bullied among students aged 13-17 and associated factors in this group in two districts in Nghe An Province in Vietnam in 2017. A cross-sectional study was performed with 1074 students. The study ananlyzed data from a survey about health risk behaviors and associated factors among school students. Its questionnaire was based on GSHS survey and Center for Epidemiological Studies-Depression scale. Students aged 13-17 in two schools, in urban and rural districts in Nghe An province, were selected for the research.
