This paper examines the significance of the Statistical Yearbook of Saigon’s government in providing a comprehensive overview of the rubber industry in Southern Vietnam in the period 1954 to 1975. Prior to 1945, rubber plantations played a crucial role in the economy of French Indochina.

Gia Lai has great potential for developing agricultural production, and it is home to a large crop industrial material area in Vietnam. It boasts nearly 100,000 hectares of coffee and nearly 90,000 hectares of rubber. The area has immense potential to develop its agricultural production due to its unique characteristics of soil and climate, which can support a rich diversity of plants and animal with high economic value.

Characterization of chemical structure and determination of composition of Vietnam commercial natural rubbers (CNR) were carried out to investigate the relationship between structure and properties of natural rubber. Five different grades of CNRs used are SVR10, SVR5, SVR3L, SVRCV50 and SVRCV60. The CNRs films were prepared by solution casting technique following by acetone extraction.

Agriculture in Vietnam is on a long and continuing transition from subsistence livelihood activities to commercial agriculture. The extent of the commerciality can be measured in regard to both inputs and outputs. Data from the North Central Coast of Vietnam indicates high commerciality for rubber, production forestry, cassava, beef, and dairy.

This article presents the studying results of surveying 301 female diabetics about the request of their shoes into: shoe type, shoe kind and shape, the dimension and shapes of shoe’s details, the bottoming assembly method, the materials and the comfort of the shoes. The study results show that: popular shoes for female diabetics are open shoes, low-necked with Velcro, low heel from 20mm to 25mm, high toe spring from 10mm to 15 mm, and large, high and oval toe part.

Vietnam Rubber Industry: Current status and sustainable development solutions was jointly produced by Vietnam Rubber Association (VRA), Vietnam Timber & Forest Product Association (VIFORES), Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), Forest Products Association of Binh Dinh (FPA Binh Dinh) and Forest Trends. Sugar production in Vietnam plays an important role in the agriculture and creating a plenty sugarcane bagasse source (SCB). SCB is reused in various industries. In this study, we deployed SCB potential in Pleurotus sajor-caju (P. sajor-caju) mushroom cultivation and evaluated the combination between SCB and sawdust served as raw substrates to increase the yield of mushroom cultivation.

The effects of carbon nanotube (CNT) in combination with carbon black (CB) on the properties of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR)/polyvinyl chloride (PVC) (70/30) were investigated. The results reveal that the maximal tensile strength of the rubber blend was obtained by the fillers ratio of CB:CNT = 39:1. At this filler ratio, the thermal stability and heat conductivity of the rubber blend were also significantly improved.

In this paper, NR nanocomposites with the most popular and promising nanofillers were reviewed. These nanofillers are nanosilica and layered silicate as the most important fillers for NR industry after carbon black, and nanocellulose as a new abundant and environmental friendly filler. Methods of NR nanocomposites preparation were briefly summarized. The main attention was paid to the establishment of nanostructures in NR composites.

The resulting TE-NRs were characterized by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Epoxy group was found for PC, STR5L, RSS3, TSS8® and SMR20 and trans-1,4-isoprene unit from trans-1,4-isoprene units from cis-trans isomerization was found for TSS8® and SMR20 from the assignments of 1H-NMR signals.

This paper shows the primary research results of the effect of the leather fibers on the vulcanization of natural rubber (NR). The fibers used in this research were prepared by grinding waste leather scraps of Vietnam shoe making company. Leather fibers (LFs) and natural latex rubber were mixed together at various rates by a stirring machine.

Presently, in mineral industry of Vietnam 2 types of spiral separators are employed: (i) 1200 mm-diameter type made of unplastized PVC (type A) and (ii) 600 mm-diameter type made of polymer composite (PC) and surface layer is chloroprene rubber (type B). In practice it has proven that type B has conductivity considerably higher than type A and easy movement resulting from smaller size.

The Elastomeric Alloy (EA) materials based on polypropylene (PP) and Vietnam waste Rubber Powder (RP) has been prepared in internal mixer of Haake in melting state with peroxide initiator. Dynamically stabilizing process at presence of radical donor and acceptor systems has leaded to form chemical bonds on the surface between two phases of surspending rubber powder and PP matrix and then to form intermediate phase surrounding Rubber Particles and making EA higher dense than that of materials by simple mixing RP and PP without networking.

Vietnam belongs to the region of tropical climate with high temperature and moisture, especially very high violete radiation exposure. Under these conditions the properties of elastomeric alloys made from waste rubber powder and polypropylene using peroxide as an initiator were messured. Using the dynamic stabilizing method the influence of the composition and the nature of the components on the alloy stability was estimated.
