In this study, the researcher focuses on exploring the impact of the European Union–Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and the European Green Deal on Vietnamese exports. This article used qualitative methods, including collecting and analyzing secondary data. The objective is to understand the requirements and standards set by the European market and the advantages that the free trade agreement impacts on the quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese export products.

This research aims to evaluate the impact of CW issuance on the price and liquidity (measured by trading volume and bid-ask spread) of underlying stocks on the Vietnamese stock market. The study employs the event study methodology and Wilcoxon test to examine whether abnormal returns, trading volume, and bid-ask spreads change after CW issuance.

This article studies determinants of the sales of food companies listed in Vietnam stock market in the increasing trend of international trade. We carried out a research on 50 listed food companies in Vietnam in the period from 2014 to 2019. In this study, beside the regression analytical technique, the Blinder - Oaxaca decomposition analysis is used to study more deeply the effect of factors on the sales of companies.

The study in this paper utilizes Vietnamese firm-level data to investigate the relationship between trade liberalization and the productivity performance of Vietnam’s manufacturing sector. The data covers the years 2007 to 2016 when substantial trade liberalization took place. The semi-parametric approach developed by Levinsohn and Petrin (2003) is used to control for simultaneity bias in the estimation of a production function and to obtain TFP estimates.

This study aimed to analyze relative competitiveness in technology trade by industry and technology between South Korea and Vietnam, which is Korea’s foremost technology trade partner. And then technical competitiveness by industry, technology, and type was analyzed with a tool that measures trade-specific indexes (TSI). TSI analysis revealed South Korea is highly technologically competitive relative to Vietnam, but technological competitiveness of its apparel, accessories, and fur industries is diminishing annually.

This study focuses on applying SMART model to simulate export performance, in particular trade effects, of Vietnamese fishery products to the Netherlands after the EVFTA takes effect and all tariff barriers are eliminated. This paper examined Vietnam's trade in services during 2005 - 2019 from the theory of comparative advantage and its development by employing the calculation of revealed comparative advantage, relative trade advantage and revealed competitiveness indexes. Non-compete agreements are established by employers and employees to protect the employer’s trade secrets. These agreements are governed by the laws of many countries around the world. However, in Vietnam, the current law does not have clear provisions to regulate this issue. In this article, the author introduces the doctrine of inevitable disclosure that can be used as a theoretical basis for legislators to officially recognize the validity of the non-compete agreements in the near future.

This paper is set out to explore the performance of the APT in the Vietnamese market in the context of the U.S - China trade war 2018. Testing on the listed stocks in Vietnamese stock exchanges provides a certain impact of the trade war on the asset pricing models’ effectiveness. Specifically, the trade war casts the effects on the prediction power of economic forces on the expected returns of the Vietnamese stocks. This is the first study to bring light into the investigation of the validity of the APT in the Vietnamese economy in the wake of the trade war.

The article focuses on analyzing and evaluating a number of situations related to the substainable production and export of agricultural products of Vietnam in the context that trade protection measures continue to increase in the current period. Using qualitative research methods such as statistics, description, comparison, contrast, synthesis and analysis, ..., the research results show that trade protection measures, especially the Non-tariff measures have been and are tending to be more diversified and more sophisticated.
