In recent years, patients' out-of-pocket costs for cancer care have been rising rapidly. These costs include health insurance deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments for covered services, as well as services that are not covered by insurance. Many cancer patients are especially vulnerable financially because their illness and/or treatment impedes their ability to work, with some patients losing employment altogether.

This paper introduces a novel framework, July, which serves the dual purpose of detecting vulnerable commits and localizing the root causes of the vulnerabilities. The fundamental concept of July is that the determinant of the vulnerability of a commit is the inherent meaning embedded in its changed code. For just-in-time vulnerability detection (JIT-VD), July represents each commit by a Code Transformation Graph and employs a Graph Neural Network model to capture their meanings and distinguish between vulnerable and non-vulnerable commits.

The vulnerability index of different districts was assessed using the long term data of 30 years for Andhra Pradesh state by employing Iyengar and Sudhershan methodology The results of the study indicated that out of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, Anantapur district occupies first rank in term of vulnerability and was classified as very highly vulnerable district and East Godavari district was the less vulnerable district.

This article analyses vulnerability to climate related shocks across five districts in the shire river basin of Malawi. The analysis employs an indicator approach that integrates biophysical and socioeconomic indices. Principal component statistical analysis was used to calculate an index for adaptive capacity, sensitivity and exposure to climate impact for each of the five districts. These indices were aggregated to develop a vulnerability index differentiated also by gender for the surveyed districts.
