The present study aimed to know the Economic evaluation of livestock insurance i.e. Performance of livestock, Coverage of livestock and Premium Paid and Indemnity Given to livestock owners in the Amravati district. For Study purposes, data related to three periods of time i.e. 2006-07, 2011-12, and 2016-17 were collected from major insurance companies of livestock insurance. Amravati division of Maharashtra state has been considered for the study of economic evaluations of the livestock insurance scheme. all five districts were selected for the study i.e.

In order to ascertain the impact of soybean front line demonstrations in terms of change in knowledge and adoption of soybean production technology on demonstrator and non demonstrator farmers, the present study was carried out by selecting 73 demonstrator and 70 non-demonstrator farmers from 14 villages in the jurisdiction of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Karda of Risod Panchayat Samiti of Washim district in Maharashtra state.

Worldwide agriculture is sensitive to short-term changes in weather and to seasonal, annual and longer-term variations in climate. The study of rainfall variability is very crucial in the tropical country like India where agriculture sector shared 17-18 percent to the country’s GDP. As rainfall having direct relationship with agriculture, change in rainfall patterns reveals direct effects on agricultural production and success or failure of cropping patterns countrywide.

The present study was conducted during the year 2018 and 2019 at Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra with an aim to know the macro and micronutrient status of soils of Washim road farm, Dr. PDKV Akola. Grid based (GPS) forty-four (44) surface (0-20 cm depth) soil samples were collected by grid survey method at 200m distance from Washim road farm and analyzed as per standard procedure for judging chemical properties and available nutrient status of soil.
