The main PGP-properties, namely the ability to solubilize-P and production of IAA, as well as production of siderophores and HCN were examined. Additionally, field trials were conducted on sandy loam soil at El-Tahrir Province during two successive summer seasons to study the effect of co-inoculation with Bradyrhizobium either individually or together with S. marcescens and/or T. harzianum on nodulation

PCA revealed overall acceptability, taste and colour as the top three sensory components contributing to variation in the gari samples. Root size negatively correlated with dry matter, starch content and gari yield. It was concluded that the various cassava varieties exhibited some distinct morpholgical and chemical characteristics which influenced their potentials for gari production.

Yield in chickpea is influenced by many different components including number of primary branches per plant, number of secondary branches per plant, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, seed yield per plant and many other traits. All of these traits can potentially be improved through selection as long as there is sufficient genetic variation.

Nitrogen is a major essential yield limiting nutrient in crop production, it serves as a constituent of many plant cell components, such as amino acids and nucleic acids. Hence it is important to improve the productivity as maize is an exhaustive crop. The low productivity of maize during kharif season is attributed to a wide range of constraints including the low nitrogen use efficiency.

Nigella (Nigella sativa L.) has been widely acknowledged for its immense medicinal properties in different medicinal systems. Recognizing the importance of the crop as a potential component in crop diversification in Coastal Humid Tropic of India, a systematic study on the effect of date of sowing and plant densities on growth, yield and quality of nigella was under taken during winter growing season (rabi).

Sixty four landraces were evaluated for 10 yield and its component traits. Analysis of variance showed significant difference among the genotypes to all the characters under both control and low-moisture stress condition. Environmental influence was meagre on expression of characters as evidenced by narrow gap between GCV and PCV for most of the characters.

Field experiment was conducted to development of fertilizer adjustment equations for rice crop in Vertisol of Chhattisgarh plain region of Chhattisgarh state. Rice crop required 1.52 kg N, 0.38 kg P and 2.03 kg K to produce one quintal grain yield. Fertilizer and soil test efficiencies were estimated 27.75, 24.60 and 87.15 percent and 25.60, 66.35 and 15.85 percent respectively for N P K. The efficiency of FYM in terms of available nutrient was evaluated as 13.85, 7.10 and 11.05 percent respectively.

A field experiment was conducted at the experimental field twelve Mungbean (Vigna radiata L.) genotypes under water stress condition. A wide diversity among the genotypes in their root characters including yield was recorded. Genotypes varied from genotypes TBG-104, KU-12-13 root length was increased during moisture stress condition in both the years. But genotypes showed lower amount of root dry weight, pod dry weight along with number pods per plant and number pods per cluster in irrigated control as well as moisture condition.

The present study was programmed in 2014-15 to evaluate the efficacy of the varied components of precision farming systems comprising drip irrigation (80% ER), fertigation (75% RDF), micronutrient foliar spray (Commercial formulation ‘Tracel’2%), bunch spray of sulphate of potash (2%) as well as black LDPE film (50µ) mulch over the traditional system of soil nutrient application (110g N, 33g P2O5 and 330g k2O) and flood irrigation (15 day intervals) in ‘Grand Naine’ banana. Components of precision farming significantly increased bunch yield. The highest bunch weight (21.

A field experiment was conducted at Agricultural College Farm, Bapatla, during kharif 2015-16 to find out the response of transplanted rice under three levels of inorganic nitrogen in combination with organic manures viz., poultry manure, FYM and neemcake at 75, 100 and 125 per cent RDN. The highest yield components and yield of rice was recorded with application of 50 per cent N applied as inorganic and remaining 50 per cent through poultry manure @ 125 per cent RDN comparable with 125 per cent and 100 per cent N through only chemical fertilizers.

Fruit Crops yield and quality significantly increase with the use of micronutrients such as zinc (Zn), iron (Fe), Calcium (Ca) Magnesium (Mg) Boron (B), Copper (Cu), Manganese (Mn), etc. Zinc (Zn) has an important metabolically role in plants vegetative and reproductive phases; growth and development; is therefore called an essential trace element or a micronutrient.

The use of Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) has opened up fresh opportunities for enhanced seed production in pulses in particular which are often face limitations due to intrinsic and external factors. Therefore, an experiment was carried out inside the net house in cement moulded pots to determine the effect of crop growth regulators viz. Maleic Hydrazide, Gibberellin, Triacontanol, 2,3,5- triiodobenzoic acid and Cycocel, as foliar spray. The result indicated significant variations in foliage, canopy structure, floral initiation, pod setting, seeds per plants etc.

The present investigation was performed with fifty-three genotypes of Gossypium hirsutum L. cotton to get information on genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance as per cent of mean for yield, yield supporting and fibre quality attributes. The value of PCV was higher than GCV which explains that instead of genotypic component, the environmental component also influences in the expression of the character. The characters like number of bolls per plant, number of flower bearing nodes and seed cotton yield recorded higher values of GCV and PCV.
