Recent advancements in metagenomics, particularly in the studies of conservative 16S rRNA sequences, have significantly accelerated our understanding of the relationship between corals and their associated microbial communities. While bacteria are known to be closely linked with corals, there is limited understanding of the connections between archaea and corals. Unlike previous 16S rRNA studies conducted in similar tropical coral reef ecosystems, we analyzed both the archaeal and bacterial communities associated with Acropora sp. and Lobophyllia sp.

Clavicle fracture is one of the most common injuries of the shoulder girdle. Malunion with angulation or shortening following fractures could cause significant functional deficits of the shoulder. Many kinds of treatment, such as conservative treatments (figure-of-eight bandage, arm sling) or surgeries (fixation with an intramedullary nail, a Kirschner wire, or plates and screws), are described to have their pros and cons for clavicle fractures.

The study is focused on the experience of conferencing from the perspective of young people (offenders), their families and supportive others. This research concludes with a discussion on the potential effects on river water quality due to dry weather spills, the impact of rainfall intensity and their potential to mobilize the microbial contamination and move towards a stormwater drain and be transported to a nearby water course. Overall, the objectives of this study were achieved and the transport of microbes can be estimated at different elapsed times depending on the relative humidity after a dry weather spill event, providing its impact on waterways.

This search resulted in the development of a practical software tool based on animated Venn diagrams (Dvenn) that attempted to exploit the inherent human ability to perceive quantities visually, a faculty described herein as visual numeracy. The exploitation of this faculty is considered here to be a valuable aid for group understanding of business presentation data. The development of the tool was an essential part of the research that was undertaken and the resulting software forms a significant portion of this practise based research.

Those living with disadvantage suffer from higher rates of chronic conditions and multimorbidities. Little work has been done to investigate how this cohort experience patient-centred care and what their outcomes might be. This study showed that as a result of a short course of treatment clients experienced better levels of health and wellbeing and decreased levels of pain and disability. Interview data suggest that this may be due to a combination of therapy, setting and relationships formed within that setting.
