A comparative analysis of municipal solid waste treatment scenarios from the perspective of the circular economy in Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam province

Landfill and incineration are still popular solid waste management methods in Vietnam. The collection, analysis, and calculation of data on domestic solid waste were carried out for the case study in Thanh Liem district, Ha Nam. A life cycle assessment was performed for the existing waste management system, and two other scenarios for each phase using the IWM2 software were also carried out.
