A discourse analysis of the metaphors with the word “time” in two Nicholas sparks’ novels

This research paper looks into the main ideologies conveyed by linguistics features, mainly metaphors, in the two Nicholas Sparks’ novels The Notebook and A Walk to Remember. Corpus techniques were adopted to get an overview of the data. The qualitative method was applied with Fairclough’s (2015) three-dimensional framework to analyze the data.
