A micro economic analysis of production of banana in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, India

Banana (Musa paradisiaca L) is the fourth largest fruit crop cultivated in the world. India is largest producer of banana in the world producing 28.45 million tonnes from an area of 0.796 million ha with a productivity of 35.7 MT ha-1 . This paper presents the costs and returns structure of banana in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh.
