A new type of hollow-shallow steel and concrete composite floor beam

Recently in Vietnam, steel-concrete composite structures especially composite beams are widely constructed in high-rise buildings. The paper deals with an innovative shape of cross-section and design philosophy of composite beam according to EN 1994-1-1.
