Accumulation of certain heavy metals in tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum (L.) Mill) and eggplants (Solanum melongena L.)

Tomatoes and eggplants are foods that have a lot of nutritional values for humans. Applying farming methods to get good quality products such as being free of pathogenic microorganisms and free of heavy metals needs concerned. In this study, we analyzed cultivation soil and irrigation water samples around tomato and eggplant cultivating areas of farmers who used chemical fertilizers and pesticides.
