Altitudinal patterns of myxomycete diversity across tropical forests of Southern Vietnam

Synecological studies have successful outcome for only limited groups of microorganisms that can be detected in nature (or isolated in laboratory) using standard methods and can be determined up to species level without serious efforts. This permits the use of large data sets in comparative biogeographical analyses.
