Assessing the shear behavior of corroded steel fiber reinforced concrete beams without shear reinforcement using nonlinear finite element analysis

The shear behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC) beams has been assessed in a large number of previous studies. However, the shear strength of corroded SFRC beams without shear reinforcement is still an unresolved topic. In this paper, the finite element models of non-corroded and corroded SFRC beams have been constructed and verified regarding load-displacement curves, crack patterns, and failure modes.
