Basics of building and analyzing adaptively targeted forecast models for supply chain management

In this paper, we propose adaptive inventorycontrol models for a supply chain consisting of one supplier and multiple retailers. It follows from the logic of the foregoing that the patterns of the past are transferred to the future to a greater or lesser extent. The targeting-based approach involves changing the patterns of the past in accordance with the target settings that determine the new nature of the processes of the future.
