Buddhist loving kindness and compassion in Vietnamese rap music – the case of Den Vau

This paper explores possible Buddhist values that may be reflected in rap music through the works of Den Vau, a prominent figure in the contemporary Vietnamese rap scene. Through thematic analysis of seven selected songs, the research examines potential Buddhist values and cultural elements that emerge in his lyrics.
